Wishing you a truly Happy New Year!!
Here are a few things I love, and want to share with you:
- This is an amazing conversation with Rick Hanson and his son, Forrest. Rick has so much integrity and a lot to share about changing our minds. This has some great practices as well! Definitely worth a listen.
- For those of you who haven’t chosen your word of the year yet, aren’t sure if it’s the right one, or just want to explore it more thoroughly, this link to Christine Kane’s Word of the Year Discovery Tool is great fun! (I believe Christine is the one who began all of this One Word stuff with a post she wrote in 2006.)
- This is my current favorite “change me” prayer by Tosha Silver (from her book Change Me Prayers: The Hidden Power of Spiritual Surrender):
“Change me Divine Beloved into One who easily releases all that’s ready to go, making room for what wants to come. May I courageously release all that is outgrown and stagnant, preparing for the new. Let me move in harmony with Your natural cycles in every way.”
- And last my favorite new idea for the holidays was making a “Door to Inspiration”. (See my picture above) I like it so much I’m going to keep it up all year – changing it seasonally. Fun!! I already have a pile started for when I take these holiday images down (soon!) of winter delights: images, ideas, plans and how-to’s.
Next week I’ll be sharing a post about un-decorating, lightening-up for a new year. Blessings and enjoy the long weekend!
